Amazing...plain and simple.
I've watched this film about a half dozen times and it never gets old. I can't recommend it enough for fans of music and/or just plain old humanity. I'm a better person for having watched it.

Beautifully done! Anyone who is a fan of SLR will love this movie! It'll make you laugh, and it'll make you cry. It's an inspiration to see the strength and determination that Kirk had during his battle with terminal cancer. It's obvious how much he loved his music, his fans, his friends, and his family. RIP, you musical maniac!
Great Documentary--Regardless of Musical taste
What a great little documentary this is. While we are not particularly fans of Bluegrass music.....you can't help but root for this band. We started watching music documentaries like this based off of our love for the greatest rock Doc of all time..."Anvil"....and while this didn't *quite* leave you as breathless, you really get pulled in by this band and their story. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it wasn't longer!
